Starting May 1, Hawaiian Airlines will debut daily nonstop service between San Diego International Airport and Maui’s Kahului Airport with new Airbus A321neo aircraft. It will also add four daily summer flights next year, including its first international seasonal service, which will be between Tokyo’s Narita International Airport and Honolulu International Airport (HNL).
Why It Matters:
In 2018, clients will have more ways to get to the Aloha State thanks to Hawaiian Airlines’ new options, which also include deploying the new Airbus aircraft on nonstop summer flights between HNL and San Francisco International Airport, and Oakland International Airport and Ellison Onizuka Kona International Airport at Keahole.
- The airline will also add summer flights between Los Angeles International Airport and Kahului, and between Narita and Honolulu supplementing existing daily service on each route with A330 wide-body aircraft that features Premium Cabin lie-flat seating and additional Extra Comfort seats.
What They Are Saying
“We are delighted to offer travelers more options to visit our islands next summer,” said Peter Ingram, executive vice president and chief commercial offer of Hawaiian Airlines. “Guests will start their Hawaiian vacation the moment they step onboard our aircraft and experience our award-winning warm hospitality.”
